About Namibia Collection

This collection is inspired by Namibia and the Namib Desert, paying homage to the raw beauty and unique landscapes of one of Earth’s oldest and most remarkable places. The Namib Desert, with its endless dunes, dramatic color contrasts, and wild nature, serves as an endless source of inspiration. The designer traveled over 3,500 km through Namibia, capturing her journey on plates, bowls, and cups.

The collection's color palette draws directly from Namibia’s natural hues, featuring sand, clay, amber tones, and the intense colors of desert sunsets. The ceramic textures echo eroded rocks, delicate dune patterns, and the rough surfaces typical of desert landscapes.

Each piece is handmade, highlighting its uniqueness and connection to traditional craftsmanship. Various decorative techniques, such as dry glazing for a matte, rough surface, and crackle glaze resembling desert-cracked earth, add depth. Every item in the collection tells its own story, rooted in a deep respect for nature and tradition, celebrating the harmony and beauty of one of the world’s most fascinating places.
