The TWIST porcelain vase in medium size (9.8 in) combines architectural austerity with the organic elegance of flowers to create a striking composition. Designed by Marek Cecuła—ceramist, educator, and award-winning artist—whose works are featured in prestigious collections including the Royal Mariemont Museum in Belgium, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, and the Museum of Arts and Design in New York. Born in Kielce in 1944, Cecuła moved to Israel in 1960 and later settled in New York during the 1970s, where he founded the ceramic studio Modus Design. Since 2000, the studio has also operated in Poland. In 2013, he co-founded the Ćmielów Design Studio, a design atelier of the Polish Porcelain Factories, dedicated to innovation and the global promotion of contemporary Polish design. Through experimental porcelain production processes, the studio merges craftsmanship with modern technology. It plays a key role in design-driven industrial product development and fosters education, art, and business collaborations through its Residency program. By engaging young creators in renowned international projects, the studio champions Polish design worldwide.
