A slender porcelain vase from the TWIST line, available in three sizes. The combination of a raw architectural form with the organic shape of flowers creates a striking composition… The designer is a ceramic artist and educator, recipient of numerous prestigious awards, with works featured in collections of the Royal Museum of Mariemont in Belgium, Victoria & Albert Museum in London, the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, and the Museum of Arts and Design in New York. Born in Kielce in 1944, he emigrated to Israel in 1960, and in the 1970s settled in New York, where he founded the ceramic studio Modus Design, which has operated in Poland since 2000. In 2013, he helped establish Ćmielów Design Studio—an innovative design studio for Polish Porcelain Factories, introducing contemporary Polish design to the global market. By experimenting with porcelain production, the studio combines the human touch with modern technology. It plays a key role in industrial product development, art, and education, collaborating globally through the Residency program. It supports emerging artists by involving them in prestigious projects and promoting Polish design internationally.
