A set of three porcelain candle holders for tea light candles. The holders vary slightly in height, allowing for creative arrangements. Their minimalist form, combined with the gentle glow of candlelight, transforms the atmosphere and adds character to both modern and traditional interiors. The designer is a ceramicist and educator, the recipient of many prestigious awards. His works are featured in collections such as the Royal Museum of Mariemont in Belgium, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, and the Museum of Arts and Design in New York. Born in Kielce in 1944, he moved to Israel in 1960 and later settled in New York in the 1970s, where he founded the ceramic studio Modus Design, which has been active in Poland since 2000. In 2013, Ćmielów Design Studio was established with his participation – a design studio of Polish Porcelain Factories. The studio focuses on development, bringing contemporary Polish design to the global market. By experimenting with the porcelain production process, it combines human craftsmanship with innovative methods and technologies. The designer plays a central role in product development. The studio engages in projects across education, art, and business and collaborates with schools and designers worldwide as part of a residency program.
