Barrel Mug small • Barrel "Mug small" with a capacity of 0.19 litres • The shape of the mug refers to the traditional Silesian szolka [mug] • Thanks to the mass from which it is made and its characteristic shape, the mug keeps hot drinks hot for a long time • Due to its small size, the cup is ideal for the youngest members of the household • The mug is dishwasher safe, microwave safe and can be used to store food in the refrigerator • Thanks to glazing and firing at high temperature, the decoration of the mug is resistant to damage • Like the whole product range of Zakład Ceramicznych "BOLESŁAWIEC", the mugs are also decorated by hand, using stamps and brushes, which makes each one unique, and therefore slight differences in decoration are possible between individual pieces within the same decoration. D-56 decoration One of the oldest and most classic decorations from the "BOLESŁAWIEC" Ceramic Works combines stamps in the characteristic "peacock eye" pattern with hand-painted leaves. The stamping method is a traditional technique for decorating dishes dating back to 1882, when local potters invented a decoration made using a sponge with underglaze paints in intense cobalt blue and green colors. Despite many years passing, this form of decoration remains consistently popular among contemporary enthusiasts of Bolesławiec pottery.
