Pot with lid A ceramic pot with a lid is a very versatile ceramic dish. It is intended to store dry products such as flour, pasta, groats, rice and salt in the kitchen or pantry. However, those don’t exhaust its uses. Pots with lids have ribbed bottoms and can also be used for baking and serving food. Unlike most dishes by Bolesławiec, they are not decorated with stamps, but glazed in a uniform dark brown color and also fired at high temperature, which makes them resistant to damage. The pots can be used in the oven, stored in the fridge and washed in dishwashers. Thanks to the lid, the food does not get cold so quickly, and the top of the dish does not brown or dry out during baking. ART-149 decoration This is one of the unique decorations, which are characterized by a greater variety of patterns and colors than traditional decorations. In this case we have a motif of a flower meadow or a garden with butterflies flying over it, attracted by the flowers. The colours used are: cobalt, red, orange, shades of green, blue and brown. A contrast to the truly painterly floral motif are stencils composed of abstract patterns. Very spectacular decoration.

All decorations of the pottery manufactured in Zakłady Ceramiczne "BOLESŁAWIEC" are hand-made by artists using traditional methods - with stamps and brushes. After decorating and glazing, the pottery is subjected to a second firing at high temperature, thanks to which both the pottery and the decoration gain resistance to damage and colour change. Each hand-decorated item is unique, as slight differences in decoration are inevitable.
